In the history of electronics, a few inventions found themselves, over the years, at the top of the list when it came to the “over the top” trait, and Gresso seems quite bent on setting a new record with the Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot cellphone, whose price is of an astounding $1,000,000.

One would consider a price of several thousands of dollars monumental, to say the least, but it so happens that, compared to the new product from Gresso, this tag can be seen as very small.

Gresso has prepared a number of Luxor Las Vegas phones which have cases made of solid gold and are embellished with a bezel and an inset 200-year-old Balckwood on the back panel.

Naturally meant to merely act as a testimony to one's wealth, the phones are priced at 'only' $20,000.

Still, it is the Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot that is the actual piece of news, though there will only be three such phones in the entire world.

The device's case is made of pure gold and weighs 180 grams. It is also encrusted with 45,5 K black diamonds, which occur very rarely in nature.

Basically, this phone is designed with the specific purpose of reaching as high a price point as possible, and the addition of the same 200-year-old African Blackwood definitely helps in this.

Gresso also innovated, or so it says, the keyboard, manufacturing each key out of single sapphires, each manually polished with the aid of a diamond tool.

“Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot is a combination of magnificent black diamonds and 18-karat gold. Treasures of Ancient Egypt and aesthetics of modern Las Vegas, Gambling Capital of the World, inspired GRESSO designers to create the model,” states the official release.

The Gresso Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot is priced at no less than $1,000,000 and, along with the 'cheap' $20,000 models, will start selling sometime this month.
