At this time, Google Book Search is an innovative search technology designed by Google that helps you find information about books, authors or other publications from the entire world. The service is quite useful because it also provides multiple links to online shops and libraries to buy or borrow the book as well as cover photos and a short brief of the content. Google improved the products multiple times by adding more and more books and information but the most important update is surely represented by the partnerships made with numerous universities and libraries to enhance the content it offers.

Last week, the search giant presented an attractive product developed through the AJAX Search API platform that helps web designers place an attracting news bar directly on their websites. The dock bar receives headlines from the Google News service and organizes them on certain categories configured by the users. Today, the company announced a similar product that concerns Book Search, allowing you to include a vertical or horizontal bar that will display the cover for multiple books.

"Second, you can create a dynamic bookshelf with books covers that link to the online versions in Google Book Search. You customize how you want these widgets to display, and we'll generate code for you to copy and paste into your web page. For those of you who don't maintain any sites, you might want to share this news with patrons, students, or others that you know who are running their own web pages or blogs. It's a relatively easy way for them to add dynamic content to their sites, and they'll learn a bit about AJAX and Google APIs along the way," Peter Deng, Associate Product Marketing Manager, sustained in a blog post published on the official page of the service.
