Late last month, a couple of pictures of a new Tablet PC surfaced on Fujitsu-Siemens' website, confirming that the company would soon make available a new product, as part of its STYLISTIC ST series. Unfortunately, despite the listing on the company's official page, no details regarding pricing and availability were disclosed. With all that, it seems that the new Tablet PC is going to make its way onto stores shelves soon, as it has already arrived at the FCC.

There's no specific date of release, or price for that matter, for Fujitsu Siemens' new Tablet PC but, as the most recent pictures confirm, the company should soon make available its new slate-form tablet, after it clears FCC testing.

The technical specifications have already been made available and, if you’ve been wondering what to expect from it, then you should know that the upcoming ST6010/ST6012 tablet is basically an improved version of the company’s previous model, bringing just a few additional features. As a matter of fact, the most significant change in terms of design is that the company decided to shift the Bluetooth/WiFI button to the side of the slate.

Now, performance-wise, you are looking at a tablet with a 12.1-inch WXGA display that features an active digitizer. The Tablet PC incorporates an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU9400 processor with 3MB of L2 cache and 800MHz FSB, up to 4GB of RAM memory, and also an optional built-in 3G UMTS WWAN. The other specifications include a 320GB, 5400 RPM hard drive or an optional 64GB Solid State Drive.

You will also get a built-in 1.3MP webcam, memory card reader, VGA output, Gigabit Ethernet, a fingerprint sensor and dual internal microphone array, all of which will be featured on a slate-form tablet that weighs only 1.6kg. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, we still have to wait for details regarding pricing and availability.
