Data security is a growing concern on today's market, especially on the business, enterprise and government fronts, so Green House figured it might capitalize on this with its newest flash drives.

If anything can be said about Green House, it is that its has been quite active recently, especially as far as flash drive storage units are concerned.

Among other things, new Pico Drives were unleashed, with support for the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard even.

These all came in addition to such things as SDHC memory cards, Full HD monitors and even an USB-connected one, these being just some of the things Green house delivered since its inception.

Now, the very same company is catering to a different end-user segment, although still sticking to the NAND Flash storage market.

More specifically, the company unleashed the PicoDrive VC, yet another sub-series of flash drives, only with a less than ordinary set of assets this time.

Basically, the company built them with the express purpose of meeting the rigorous security requirements of prospective customers that need their files encrypted and free of viruses.

As such, the newcomers are pre-installed with the Trend Micro antivirus (malware, thus, should not be an issue), while also being designed with hardware-based, AES 256-bit automatic encryption.

Four models exist, at least for now, with capacities of 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB, all of them offered with a one-year or three-year subscription for antivirus upgrades.

Those capacities, along with the features described above, are packed inside frames measuring 61 (W) x 20 (D) x 5.9 (H) mm and weighing 9 grams each.

Prices, obviously, vary according to the antivirus subscription, not just the actual capacity selected. As such, one can get away with $79 (2GB, one year subscription) or go higher, all the way to the 16 GB with 3-year antivirus subscription ($265).
