Edirol rolls better, being also smaller

I guess that every sound enthusiast knows what the name Edirol stands for and where it comes from. For those who do not know, I'll just say that Edirol is a hi-tech daughter-company of already hi-tech Roland and they're pulling one success after the other, especially when we speak about the portable recorder series.

The previous pieces of gear from Edirol, namely the R-1 and R-4 have been followed by a new and improved "R" model, the 09. Not only has it been showcased at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt but also it has come with some new cool features and accessories so it is basically a new thing to have.

This altogether expensive recorder will allow you to virtually carry a recording studio-grade equipment with you but in your pocket or hanged around your neck and not in your entire van. Fitting excellently in the palm of your hand (unlike the R-1), the Edirol R-09 will grant you pristine recordings in WAV or MP3 format wherever you might be, all in stereo!

The stereo built-in mic will allow you to capture 24-bit resolution sound at either 44.1kHZ or 48kHz WAV or up to 320kbps MP3 files. Monitor or simply USB-export files to your DAW or music player as suitable -as simple as this! The new Edirol recorder comes now with two accessories which will not only make your Edirol R-09 use safer but also more convenient and more fashionable.

The carrying case will protect your recorder when in the crowds: it's both stylish and safe as you can simply insert your Edirol R-09 in it while still carrying it around your neck - easy access when needed yet safe protection.

As for usage convenience, the new Edirol R-09 sports now a pair of specially-designed headphones also coming in a matching case as the recorder's one so no more fears for the users preoccupied by fashion as well! New colors will be soon available for the Edirol R-09 so you'll have the chance to choose. See Edirol officials talk about the new Edirol in this GearWire movie.

No matter whether you are in the wild and want to record a bird's trills or the sound of a waterfall or at hoe exercising your violin and want to make sure you'll remember something you've just composed, the Edirol R-09 is the new way to have such things done!
