The Starsway Electronics brand is not a joke. These fellows have just made a portable media player, which was eventually dubbed MP405B. It looks like this time they really did it. It looks extremely comfortable to hold, pocket friendly and probably does a bunch of nice stuff, too.

Sadly, there is no official word on the PMPs dimensions, but we know that it reveals a 1.5 inch Lcd display screen, so I guess that should be enough for us to have an idea about it. Regarding its capabilities, it sports the same old MP3, WMA and WAV audio file support, as well as MPEG-4 format to use when handling video media content. As a bonus, they also offer the common lyric display and a couple of digital images you can probably set as wallpaper.

But, what's really unusual about this media player is its charging feature. The MP405B gets juiced up by a kalium-aka potassium- battery, which - as PMP Today says - may actually be a " variation of the high-capacity and super iron battery".

There are also some extra specs in the technical list, such as an integrated FM tuner, an e-book txt reading capability, some gaming and audio recording functionality. Moreover, to make it special among other devices of its kind, the manufacturers have also added the "NM diamond viewing lens" and have embedded the player under a strong magnesium alloy case. As to its 'brain'?it comes packed with various storage capacity sizes of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and the maximum 1GB, all available in flash.

If you're interested in getting one of these portable media players, have a little patience, as there is no official info on the pricing and availability details. Yet! And let's face it: Potassium and magnesium are essential for healthy nerve impulse function...in humans though!
