Rapper 50 Cent confirms new Eminem album is nearly completed, awaiting release date

Earlier this month, a new track was leaked off Eminem’s upcoming album, “Relapse.” What made this leak different from previous ones was that it was of a completed track, which meant that it allowed fans to see what was in store for them next. Now, rapper 50 Cent says they won’t have to wait that long either way, since “Relapse” is nearly done, and is currently getting the finishing touches in the studio.

Speaking to Hollyscoop, 50 has revealed that his voice will also be heard a lot on the “Relapse” project, which, we might as well mention, is now being mixed, with himself and Dr. Dre at the helm. This should be nothing but great news for the rapper’s fans worldwide, since the album has been a long way coming, as also was Eminem’s presence on the music scene.

“His [Eminem’s] new album is almost actually done. I went to Detroit to mix my song ‘I Get It In’ [set for 50 Cent’s upcoming album ‘Before I Self-Destruct’] with Dr. Dre – Eminem is currently mixing his album right now. It won’t be more than maybe two weeks before they start trying to figure out when they will start scheduling the release of his actual project.” 50 told Hollyscoop, as quoted by NME.

When asked whether he too would be present on “Relapse,” the rapper answered more or less jokingly that he would be one of the prominent voices on it, as also noted above. “Of course! I will be all over the record, you kidding me? You think I won’t take advantage of the opportunity for everybody to look at me and listen to me. Yes I will!” 50 Cent added.

“Crack a Bottle,” poised as being Eminem’s first single of his “comeback” album, was leaked on the Internet at the beginning of January, much to the dismay and disappointment of the rapper and his management team. Featuring a heavier beat and more mature sound, the track was awesome news for the fans, as they had been waiting for this to come their way since Eminem’s 2004 “Encore.”
