14 DAY TRIAL // Creative announced a new line-up of HI-FI speaker systems: the Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600, Creative PlayDock Z500 and the Creative TravelSound ZEN V docking speakers. Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600 is equipped with the X-Fi technology in order to bring MP3 and CD music to the Xtreme Fidelity standard, complementing the X-Fi sound cards. Creative PlayDock Z500 and Creative TravelSound ZEN V docking speakers integrate a compact design, which makes them ideal for outdoor activities or "music-assisted" traveling.
The Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600 works great with a Creative ZEN Vision: M Player. Via a stylish dock, the users can simultaneously charge and playback music content from their players. The included dock is equipped with the renowned X-Fi audio technology, featuring the 24-bit Crystalizer and CMSS-3D technologies. The sound systems include two wall-mountable satellite speakers and a compact subwoofer with a large 8" long throw driver. An infra-red remote control allows users to comfortably navigate the key player functions for the Creative ZEN Vision:M and speaker functions for the Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600.
Another newcomer is Creative PlayDock Z500 portable speaker system for portable media players. It is practically a docking speaker for the Creative ZEN Vision:M and Creative ZEN V/ZEN V Plus players. It, too, enables users to charge the player while listening to music or ZENcasts. The speaker system integrates high-performance drivers to create a balanced listening experience and accurate reproduction of music. Its Creative Wide Stereo Effect feature produces improved stereo sound imaging, expanding the acoustic experience and creating a "sound stage" environment. The dock also comes with a built-in subwoofer, which features advanced bass control for accurate bass response. Being magnetically shielded, the Creative PlayDock Z500 can be placed near any TV or computer monitor without causing any interference.
The Creative TravelSound ZEN V allows users to directly transfer data and music files to the player while it is docked on the speaker. TravelSound ZEN V can be powered with either four AA batteries which allow up to 25 hours of extended music playback, or with the bundled universal power adapter.
Beginning November 24 2006, the Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600 will be available at a suggested retail price of US $399.00 and the Creative TravelSound ZEN V for US $129.00. The Creative PlayDock Z500 will be available in December for US$199.00.
