World of Warcraft is one of the biggest video games in the world, boasting over 11,5 million paying subscribers each month. These players are engulfed in the fantasy world of Azeroth and play various factions, races and classes.

That is why any new update is extremely important for them, as it might have a crucial impact on their whole experience. Even though the major 3.2 patch was released a few weeks ago and players are getting to know it even now, a lot of talk has already started to build up in regard to the next major add-on for World of Warcraft, which will be named Cataclysm.

We've already heard from some inside sources that the Goblins and the Worgen will be the two new playable races brought forth by this new expansion, but a new batch of big details about this add-on have surfaced. Be warned though that this is still unconfirmed and contains a lot of spoilers, so keep on reading if you really want to find out all of the juicy details regarding World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

First of all, the name of the expansion will stem from a cataclysmic event that will be unleashed upon Azeroth and will completely change its landscape. In order to stay safe and to survive this, the level cap will now be raised to 85, giving players a lot of work in order to reach it. It also means that more expansions will follow until the fabled level 100 cap will be reached. New leveling strategies and the overall ease of doing this will make a lot of players try out new races or classes in this new expansion.

Now we've already heard about the Worgen and the Goblins, but this new information also reveals what happened with the two races and details the story behind their shifts in loyalty. Also, it seems that the Worgen will have two forms, a Wolf-like one and a human one, with players being able to customize each of them.

But for those who aren't that interested in the new races, new class combinations will be revealed by Cataclysm. A new quest named An Injured Colleague will reveal to players class-race combinations like: Human Hunter, Orc Mage, Night Elf Mage, Dwarf Mage, Blood Elf Warrior, Dwarf Shaman, Undead Hunter, Tauren Paladin, Tauren Priest, Gnome Priest or Troll Druid.

But one of the most important additions will be the revamp that Azeroth will receive, which will change its face and make leveling that much easier. Quests will be redesigned in order to give the players a greater sense of progression over time and add to the narrative value of the popular MMORPG.
