Rumors about Dell's upcoming 10-inch Android tablet specifications have emerged last week, but no details regarding the device's price tag and release date have been spotted yet.

In light of the new reports, it appears that the initial information wasn't entirely correct, as the tablet is not equipped with a dual core T25 Nvidia Tegra processor running at 1.2 GHz.

Instead, the Streak Pro is reportedly powered by a dual-core T20 Nvidia Tegra with a clock speed of 1GHz, which does not feature support for 3D viewing.

Furthermore, the tablet is expected to run Android Honeycomb, although there's still no telling if Dell has enough time to deliver the Streak Pro with the latest Android 3.1 platform on board.

Dell Streak Pro comes with a 10-inch touch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and packs 1GB of DDR2 memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The tablet is said to measure 261 x 176.4 x 12.9 mm and weighs 720g (battery included), which puts it in the heavy weight category.

In addition, the device sports a 5-megapixel main photo snapper, as well as secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

The Streak Pro features dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a 24.1 Wh battery that should provide for up to 12 hours of usage.

It is worth mentioning that the tablet is expected to be delivered with full support for AT&T's LTE network, which might suggest that the U.S. major carrier will be among the first to offer the device in the country.

According to the hearsay, Dell Streak Pro targets both consumer and business markets. Dell aims at the consumer market with the Stage 2.0 UI, as well as a wide range of interesting accessories, such as a media dock and a charging dongle adapter for the car.

The tablet should be appealing for the business market as Dell included support for Exchange ActiveSync, Encryption, VPN, as well as productivity dock and a foldout cover with built-in keyboard.

Dell Streak Pro will be available in three versions with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of flash storage and is expected to be announced as earlier as next month.
