The PlayStation 3-exclusive online first-person shooter MAG is getting a new piece of downloadable content on the 22nd of June. The Interdiction pack will cost ten dollars and will include a new game mode and three new faction neutral maps, Lake Bayano Spus, Sovot Motorway and Iron Cree Quarry, especially designed for this new multiplayer type. New additions also comprise a new armor and new ribbons, medals and Trophies.

The new multiplayer mode has the same name as the DLC, Interdiction, and will task two enemy teams to take control of three command posts. Up to 128 players can compete in Interdiction. As one team controls a post, it will gain score points, while the enemy team will have its score decreased. The new armor set is named “Heavy Improved” and will turn a normal combatant into a walking tank, according to the developers.

The ribbons players can receive are: Jump Start, if they capture two Command Posts in a round of Interdiction, Mowing the Grass, if they get ten kills with a vehicle turret in one round, Dashed Hopes, if they destroy two mines with gunfires in one round, and Cannonball Rally, if they become an MVP (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) in a round of Interdiction.

The new medals are: Roadside Assistance, if players capture ten Interdiction control points over their career, Landscape Architect, if they get 50 kills with a vehicle turret over their career, BOD, if they destroy 20 mines with gunfire over their career, and Designated Driver, if they earn five Interdiction MVPs over their career. Also, three new trophies have been added that are tied to these new medals and ribbons: King of the Hills (Bronze), Red Ball Express (Silver) and Road Runner (Gold). In addition to expanding MAG, Zipper is also working on SOCOM 4, a military action game designed for the PlayStation Move motion controller.
