All gamers that enjoy delivering a perfect head-shot once in a while will be delighted to know that Counter-Strike: Source , along with some other Steam features, has been improved.

Steam has announced that new updates to Counter-Strike: Source, Source Engine and Source TV were released. Players who want to benefit from these new features have to restart their Steam client.

Steam updates for Counter-Strike: Source include the Dynamic Weapon Pricing. The Source Engine will have excluded the .lua files from being downloaded directly by the clients. Also the addons/, ganemods/ and lua/ have been excluded from having files inside of them downloaded to clients. This new feature will be called Garry's MOD support. The dedicated server and SourceTV relays have also been optimized.

As regarding SourceTV, Steam has announced that tv_deltachache by default has been enabled and that size has been made adjustable. Another new update for SourceTV is that the original game server IP has been removed from spectator status command output.

Steam also wanted to add something to VGUI and they managed to do so by correcting the render of underlined fonts.

Seems like Steam programmers have been working round the clock, as not so long ago, Steam clients encountered problems with the authentication servers. But Steam has more than made up for it by fixing that bug and releasing now new updates.
