Ahoy, me hearties! There's nay world like a pirate's world: backstabbing, booty hunting an' so on... Arr! It just couldn't get any better. Or could it? Well... it seems so, since Disney Online has announced that new content for the Pirates of the Caribbean MMORPG is now available, bringing the game experience as close as it gets to being a real pirate, ye savvy, mate?

For example, if you felt that your pirate doesn't give you that unique feeling and 10 other pirates look the same, this new content pack comes with new hairstyles, tattoos, jewelry and clothing - all of them wrapped nicely in a wooden treasure chest and buried on a deserted island (No, I just made that up right now. All you have to do is start the game and you'll download all the goodies automatically.)

And since wearing pirates clothes or items while looking like Buster Keaton crying worths nothing, this new content pack comes with a bit of emotion, too. From now on you will be able to communicate with other players using actions such as laughing, clapping, crying, flexing, dancing and more. Also, for those times when all the bottles of rum (or grog, as the pirates call it) are empty and you feel like it's time for a new adventure, a new option has been implemented in PotC: the LFC (Looking For Crew) feature, allowing players to tell fellow pirates that they're interested in crewing up for an adventure.

Also, take this new content pack for Pirates of the Caribbean as the beginning of a new era: more updates are planned by Disney for 2008, including a new "Black Pearl" boss battle, an expansion of ship customization options, extensions of quest story lines and the addition of new enemies and challenges. But, until then, you have to be glad with the new items and dancing option. Smooth sailing!
