14 DAY TRIAL // It’s not a secret that Christina Aguilera has been using all this time away from the spotlight to work on a new album, but a timeline for it is yet unknown. Fans can at least rejoice knowing a new single is imminent.
In fact, a new single will drop next month, gossip blogger Perez Hilton says in a recent radio interview, as the video above will confirm.
Hilton claims to have it on very good authority that Christina will be putting out a new single in January, so as to capitalize on the media attention her stint on the new season of The Voice will generate.
The second season of the show premieres in February, so a single released ahead of that would make sense.
An album will follow shortly afterwards: presumably before the upcoming season of the show wraps up.
Granted, Perez is known for making claims he can’t back up. Then again, he’s also been in the right a couple of times before – and Christina fans can only hope his info is accurate this time too.
