Lots of cases have fans nowadays. In fact, it is rare to find any without at least one spinner for exhaust, and a few areas where extras can be installed. Only very small, low-end models come without them.

That is why companies like Scythe can make small fortunes of cooling implements of this sort.

This once, Scythe has introduced no fewer than five spinners, all with a diameter of 140 mm. They are as follows.

SM1425XT12SL: 27,2 CFM at 500 RPM, 9,6 dBA SM1425XT12L: 43,5 CFM at 800 RPM, 14,3 dBA SM1425XT12M: 65,2 CFM at 1.200 RPM, 23,2 dBA SM1425XT12M: 92,4 CFM at 1.700 RPM, 36,4 dBA SM1425XT12M-P: 27,2 to 69,93 CFM at 500 to 1.300 RPM, 9,6 to 24,7 dBA, PWM-Support

The Slip Stream 140 XT and Slip Stream 140 XT PWM are the most important, one might say. Prices are of €9 / $9 – $11.68, except for the Slip Stream 140 XT PWM which ships for €10 / $10 – 12.98.
