More and more coolers have begun to ship with universal mounting systems, especially the high-end one, and DeepCool has just revealed such a cooler.

Well, it isn't the greatest model I've ever seen, but it's not supposed to be. Instead, it's made for silence, and CPUs with a TDP of 130W.

Not really on the level with the big guns, but then again, there are lots of good CPUs and APUs nowadays that pack a punch within that thermal envelope. It all comes with the smaller manufacturing node after all (22nm).

For those who want a full list, the supported CPU and APU sockets from AMD are FM2, FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, 940, 939, 754, and the ones from Intel are LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150, and LGA775.

As for the specs, the IceEdge 400 E (Elite Edition) has a 92mm Hydro Bearing fan of 2200 RPM speed, a sound output of 26.3 dBA, four copper heatpipes and an aluminum heatsink.

It measures 100 x 86 x 125.5 mm / 3.93 x 3.38 x 4.94 inches and weighs 475 grams / 1.04 pounds. Sadly, the price is unknown.
