I wouldn't exactly say that a headphone set with a price of $250 / €250 is “competitively priced,” but it looks like some people think this is the case with the Bose AE2w Bluetooth headphones.
Then again, I suppose that wireless headsets can get away with such price tags.
After all, they do need not only the wireless technology, but also a good battery and enough features to justify the bother of making them wireless in the first place.
Anyway, the Bose AE2w Bluetooth headphones have all of those (battery life of 7 hours, 200 hours standby), as well as a multi-function button, power switch, volume controls, a micro-USB port (for charging) and actively-equalized audio that can be swapped for the included 3.5mm cable.
Sales in the US are already underway, with EU countries expecting shipments on May 14.
