Game has a military look and looks action oriented

A number of hints are suggesting that the new project from BioWare, which has been shown for a couple of seconds during a teaser for the VGA ceremony, might be a reboot of the Command & Conquer series.

Superannuation, a site which specializes in looking for details about unannounced projects, has uncovered the LinkedIn profile for one developer who claims to be working at something called Victory Games – BioWare.

The studio was set up by publisher Electronic Arts back in early 2010 and was supposed to deliver a new game linked to Command & Conquer but since then no information was given on the project.

The problem is that Victory Games was never actually attached to the BioWare label inside Electronic Arts and it's not clear why a strategy game would fall under the leadership of a division which is mainly linked to role playing games and, now, MMO production.

A gaming related forum NeoGAF says that the new BioWare project might also be a reboot of the Mercs Inc. project that Visceral Los Angeles was working at one time.

The developers were mostly veterans of Pandemic and the game was later updated to use the Frostbite engine and was then supposed to become Army of Two 3, another concept that was then canceled.

Again it's not clear why BioWare, which is now a full label inside Electronic Arts, would supervise the development of such a military and action focused game, given their area of expertise.

BioWare has released just one image of the project it will reveal and it literally gives away nothing about the possible game universe or the gameplay concepts behind it.

A Command & Conquer revival would be great news for real time strategy fans, who have lately been largely ignored by the developers and publishers.
