A new beta version of Trillian for Android was released by Cerulean Studios. The latest release includes several fixes and functionality tweaks.

Trillian is a popular multi-protocol instant messaging client accessible from desktop computers, Web and mobile phones.

With it, users can chat with their Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP, Facebook Chat and MySpaceIM contacts from a single unified interface.

The latest update of the Android build brings improvements to tabbed windows, fixes chat bubbles resizing issues, and addresses an array of other bugs which caused Trillian to crash or not reconnect properly.

The newest version also includes speed related tweaks which reduce the time needed for the message windows to appear.   Other changes include a fix for the settings not being remembered issue, timer for alert sounds and vibrations in order to avoid spam, a patch for a bug that sometimes caused Trillian not to open when clicking the status bar notification icon and several other adjustments.
