DICE has confirmed a brand new Battlefield 4 Community Mission during its Player Appreciation Month, this time challenging players with a new ambitious goal, that of capturing 100 million objectives over the course of five days.

Battlefield 4 suffered from quite a lot of different problems when it came out last year, and developer DICE worked hard to release different updates and patches in order to resolve as many bugs, issues, or exploits as possible.

In order to make up to fans, DICE is currently rolling Player Appreciation Month, during which it has already offered free Battlepacks or shortcut packs.

Now, a brand new Community Mission has just been confirmed by the Swedish studio, this time tasking players with capturing a lot of objectives in the Conquest and Domination multiplayer modes.

"It is time for a new DICE Community Mission where we once again challenge the Battlefield 4 players to collectively achieve great deeds on the Battlefield. This time, we are putting your team play skills in Conquest and Domination to the test. We want you to participate in the capture of 100 million objectives in 5 days," the studio said on its blog.

The brand new community mission has already kicked off today, February 21, and ends on February 26, at 7am PST/4pm CET.

"If the Community Mission is completed in time, all participating players across all formats will be rewarded with a Gold Battlepack (entitled to players’ Origin accounts on February 27). Note that the Capture the Flag game mode isn’t part of this mission. You will be able to track the progress of this mission on Battlelog under the Missions tab. Now, go get those control points!"

The last mission, which tasked players with getting 50 million vehicle kills failed, unfortunately, as only 46 million were destroyed.
