The series receives three new additions for the popular game consoles from Microsoft

I've written about many PC headsets, whether they were made for gaming or other things, but console-intended audio hardware doesn't come out as often. Mad Catz has just launched a set though.

The TRITTON line has been around for quite some time, but Mad Catz likes to add new members to it every once in a while.

This time, there are three of them. One, the TRITTON Kunai Stereo Gaming Headset, is “designed for extreme comfort” and can work with MP3 players and various audio devices, in addition to consoles.

The TRITTON Kama Stereo has in-line audio controls and 40mm precision-balanced speakers. It, too, works with audio devices.

That leaves the TRITTON Kaiken Mono Chat Headset, which only works with consoles and has in-line controls. It's a single-ear piece by the way.

Sadly, that's all the information that the company included in the press release. For more details, you have to wait for the things to go on sale, and I'm not sure when that will happen, or what prices the things have. The picture, at least, seems to show the Kunai with a design reminiscent of the post-apocalyptic genre. We can only assume that the others are patterned in a similar vein.
