You'd think that an all-in-one card reader would have all it needs to read, well, just memory cards, but that's not the case for the Apacer AM700.

This particular card reader can also read flash drives, thanks to the USB slot on the right.

Sure, the card reader had to end up a bit larger than the usual kind, but that's hardly going to put people off. After all, even then, it's still really small, much smaller than a phone.

There's even a micro USB port, in addition to the full-size one, only located on the other end of the AM700.

Interestingly, the newcomer uses OTG (On-The-Go) technology, allowing it to read from up to four cards/drives at once without the need for a PC.

It's really too bad that Apacer neglected to mention the price anywhere in its announcement.
