Two brand new clips from “The Amazing Spider-Man” have just been released and, for once, this isn't just about Spidey anymore, since they show more of the film's villain, Dr. Connors, aka Lizard.

The first video, which you can see embedded above, is actually a viral and shows Rhys Ifans in character, speaking about the kind of work they do at Oscorp Industries.

Dr. Connors is an expert in genetics and herpetology and, as the second video attached to this blog post can confirm, he feels cheated because he's missing an arm.

Obsessed to grow his arm back, Dr. Connors eventually turns into Lizard, Spider-Man's enemy.

However, they share more in common than just the fact that they're enemies, Ifans explains in the second video.

Check them out.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Denis Leary, alongside Ifans. It will be out in 3D on July 3.
