Those looking to purchase a stylish and fast Ultrabook should know that Kingston Digital has just announced that it will equip the ASUS Zenbook UX301LA and UX301LAA with its internal M.2 2260 SATA solid-state drive solution.

The ASUS Zenbook UX301LA will be bundled with a 128GB Kingston M2.2260 SATA SSD, while the Zenbook UX301LAA will come equipped with two M.2 2260 SATA SSDs in RAID 0, thus offering users 256GB of hard drive storage.

These new solutions are supposed to boost up the Ultrabooks’ response time, so they can quickly start up and shut down or swiftly open and close the application. Moreover, battery life and rapid access in and out of hibernation are also expected to see improvements.

ASUS’ Zenbooks is the company’s line of ultraportable computers coming with an advanced resolution and performance, matched by the beautiful aesthetic features. And with the new Kingston M.2 2260 SSD inside the two models, the Ultrabooks have received an important upgrade in terms of computing power.

In other news, earlier this week, we saw ASUS quietly introduce two new Zenbook models, the UX32LA and UX32LN, that offer a choice between 4th gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 Haswell chips under the hood. Sadly, the two models are currently only available for pre-order in Europe.
