This is a sort of belated celebration of the program turning 1 year old

With the release of the Radeon R9 270X graphics card, Advanced Micro Devices is also launching a new set of free game bundles. Since the Never Settle bundle program turned one year old on October 22, this means that Q4 2013 is going to be a period of celebration.

Battlefield 4 (from EA/DICE) is the main game title this time, as it is the first (and for now only) game that can work on the AMD Mantle API instead of DirectX.

Mantle is the application programming interface that directly accesses AMD GPU resources and allows games to run much more smoothly at high settings. I heard even boosts of 30% being bandied about not long ago.

On a related note, AMD is extending the Never Settle Forever bundle to its lower-end cards, namely the Radeon R7 260X. That makes it part of the Radeon Rewards Silver tier. You have to choose two out of several titles though, the newest addition being THIEF.
