Global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile, beyond-PC and digital TV markets ACCESS CO., LTD. has just announced that its NetFront Browser is to be included in new mobile phones from Pantech.

According to the company, the South Korean handset vendor should pack its browser inside devices aimed wireless carriers all around the world.

Moreover, it seems that the solution has been already delivered to the market on such devices, namely on the Pantech Pursuit, which is currently available in the United States with a sliding keyboard and 3G capabilities, as well as on the Pantech Ease.

Both these mobile phones are available for purchase on AT&Ts' airwaves, offering ease of use and convenience, as well as great messaging capabilities.

The NetFront Browser is also included in Pantech'sMDCube handset, which was released in Italy via H3G.

“Pantech is widely recognized as an innovative leader in the mobile phone industry. We are honored that they have once again chosen NetFront Browser to bring easy Internet access to these exciting new handsets,” said Tomihisa Kamada, president, CEO and co-founder of ACCESS.

“Our software technologies have been deployed by all three Korean mobile handset makers, who are rapidly expanding in global markets. ACCESS will continue to support mobile phone makers in developing innovative products that stimulate the industry worldwide,” Tomihisa Kamada continued.

ACCESS also noted that its collaboration with Pantech has already proven successful, as its solution was previously included in devices the handset vendor launched on the global market.

“NetFront Browser is the most advanced, versatile and powerful full Internet browser for mobile and beyond-PC devices,” the company announced.

The application has been developed so as to offer high performance in resource-constrained environments, and was already chosen for distribution by major wireless carriers, mobile phone makers and other companies around the world.

“NetFront products, including NetFront Browser for mobile handsets and Internet-enabled devices, have been deployed in 923 million devices worldwide, representing 2,054 different device models,” the company concluded.
