All sorts of fresh details and a special gameplay demonstration video were shared by Electronic Arts during its E3 2015 press event today. The new racing experience also got a November 3 release date for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The Need for Speed series has been around for quite some time now, celebrating 20 years of existence in 2014. Unfortunately, due to a new emphasis on quality, developer Ghost Games wasn't able to debut its latest project last year, opting instead to work an extra year on it and ensure that the title can live up to fan expectations.

Need for Speed gets an impressive gameplay video and more details

After having showcased a teaser trailer last month, EA has lived up to its word and unveiled a gameplay video at its E3 2015 press event, not to mention a promotion trailer that hypes up the general atmosphere.

As you can see in the demonstration below, the new Need for Speed is looking quite impressive, bringing back intense nighttime racing but also in-depth customization mechanics that allow users to drastically personalize their rides, both in terms of performance and looks.

EA also explains that five different play styles are possible in Need for Speed, in order to earn respect and progress through the overlapping story lines. These are Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw.

An impressive race, a police pursuit, and many other adventures are portrayed in the video below, not to mention some great-looking visuals, thanks to the latest edition of the Frostbite engine.

The new game is set to appear for PC, PS4, and Xbox One later this year, on November 3, so expect to see and hear much more about Need for Speed in the following weeks.

Until then, check out the gameplay presentation video below as well as the in-game promo trailer.
