NAVIGON MyRegion is a brand-new, customizable version of the NAVIGON’s earlier released and quite popular iPhone navigation app called MobileNavigator, with area-map access for the Eastern Europe, the Gulf Countries and only North America. The application that we are talking about allows iPhone users, who are looking for a U.S. turn-to-turn app, to navigate across countries and upgrade, on-the-go, their additional regions within the app, MacWorld informs.

MyRegion includes all of the features and capabilities of MobileNavigator 1.4. In addition, it sports portrait and landscape orientations, voice prompts, 2D and 3D map displays, integrated iPod control and a software feature called MyRoutes. This item in particular refers to an industry novelty that studies the user’s driving style in order to elaborate customized and better route recommendations. This feature offers up to two alternative routes on a map including distance, the ETA and driving time, the company’s press release notes. It allows users to choose the route that is most appropriate for them. The app was released with a support for live traffic, but comes at an extra price dependent on the region of interest.
