Obviously, there wasn't about to be a high-profile graphics card release from Advanced Micro Devices without ASUS throwing its two cents.

Indeed, ASUS has prepared two graphics cards, called EAH7790 DirectCU II and EAH7790 DirectCU II OC.

Both have the DirectCU II cooler, obviously, as seen in the photo (dual-fan, aluminum heatsink).

The former uses the same specifications as the reference model though, while the latter is factory overclocked (the OC in the name says as much) to 1075 MHz for the GPU and 6,400 MHz for the memory.

That said, both adapters get 896 stream processors, 1 GB GDDR5 VRAM, 128-bit interface, dual tessellation units, 56 TMUs and 16 ROPs. Dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors are part of the newcomers too.

The prices are of $149.99 / 149.99 Euro and, probably, $159.99 / 159.99 Euro.
