Actress Natasha Henstridge has tied the knot with her boyfriend of 7 years Darius Campbell in a secret ceremony that took place on Valentine’s Day – and not even their parents knew about it, she says.

The Daily Mail informs that Natasha and Darius were married in a ceremony so intimate that only her two sons were present – and a photographer for celebrity magazine Hello.

The two have been an item for the past 7 years, 2 of which they were engaged. Initially, they wanted a big wedding, they say, but they soon realized that a more intimate affair was more to their liking.

They eventually settled for the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, the same place where Vivien Leigh and Sir Laurence Olivier tied the knot in 1940 and, John Kennedy spent his honeymoon in 1953.

Present were only Tristan and Asher, Natasha’s sons from a previous relationship, aged 12 and 9, respectively – and they were quite thrilled to be a part of such an event.

“We thought they wouldn’t be bothered but they were super-excited and really wanted to be there,” Natasha told Hello! after the ceremony.

“They kept it secret – I was very impressed. We didn’t tell our parents for a few days afterwards. We wanted to be together and enjoy it for a while,” she added.

“It was really spontaneous. It was a very hard secret to keep!” the actress gushed.

She and her husband also revealed for the same publication, which also has exclusive photos of the bride and groom, that they didn’t want a fancy wedding.

Getting family members and friends from all over the world in the same place would have been too exhausting and costly a thing to do – so, instead, they decided to doing something for themselves.

“We realized with everyone’s schedules it was easier to do something romantic and special just for us,” Darius said.

“It would have been expensive for our guests to come here,” added the happy bride.
