A brand new TV commercial is available for the upcoming fighting game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, set to launch worldwide next month.

The new commercial, available below, showcases some of the features in CyberConnect 2's upcoming game, as well as some short but intense gameplay sequences that will surely please fans of the franchise.

Publisher Bandai Namco has released several new screenshots this month, in addition to also posting a Naruto Shippuden UNSR features trailer, highlighting the improvements and changes in the upcoming entry in the established franchise.

The screenshots, attached in the gallery below, show Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage of the Sand in action, as well as the Network Clone functionality, which allows player to create a clone of their character and send it to train and obtain special items online.

The screenshots show more of the playable characters in the upcoming fighting game, and fans of the manga and anime will surely recognize a lot of familiar faces like Itachi, Hashirama, Madara, and, of course, Naruto.

Furthermore, among the 118 playable characters that the game will ship with, there will also be an exclusive Mecha Naruto, created especially for the game by the author of the original manga, Masashi Kishimoto, who worked closely with the development team in order to make sure that the overall mood and story quality are on par with the other related media products.

Although the developer is free to come up with its own ideas, they all have to be presented to Kishimoto for approval before making it into the game.

Developer CyberConnect 2 also wanted to make the fighting system in the upcoming game more challenging and attractive for hardcore fighting game fans, putting the expertise of its King of Fighters and Street Fighter-versed staff to good use.

The game will however remain accessible to casual gamers who are merely looking to enjoy the new storylines, and the dev team has assured its long-standing fans that although the refinements will make the battle system more sophisticated, they won't transform the control scheme into the robust and complicated kind that traditional fighting titles use.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is currently scheduled for launch for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on September 11 in Japan, September 12 in Europe, and September 16 in North America.

Gamers interested in trying out the game can do so by downloading the playable demo version (complete with online versus mode) available in all regions, on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
