Dancing contestant says she took all measures to ensure such an incident didn’t happen

The other day on Dancing With the Stars, Nancy Grace wowed judges with her quickstep – and stunned audiences with what looked like a major wardrobe malfunction. The thing is, she says on Twitter, said malfunction never happened.

As we also noted in a previous article, while doing the quickstep, towards the end of the routine, Nancy’s dress seemed to suddenly give in to pressure, and one of her breasts popped out for a few seconds.

Producers immediately noticed and cut away to a wide scene of the audience, thus preventing further embarrassment for Nancy but she was already very flustered about it.

Judging by her Twitter feed, such precaution was hardly necessary because the wardrobe malfunction didn’t even happen.

She and the DWTS staff made sure nothing of the kind described in the press could happen – thanks to an industrial-strength bra, pasties and sewing the dress on the bra.

Grace uploaded a picture of herself holding the pasties she claims to have used on the night in question as well, so what audiences saw was not a part of her anatomy, but one such pasty.

“Evidence re my alleged ‘wardrobe malfunction’ which I vehemently deny: Breast Petals & industrial strength bra,” Grace writes in the description of the photo.

In another tweet, she says what was perceived as a wardrobe malfunction was nothing but a “seismic shift in [her] bra” and that she plans to deny it more happened till the day she dies.

As noted above, audiences didn’t even see the so-called wardrobe malfunction because producers acted on the spot and had the cameras focus on something else.

After Grace stuffed herself back in her dress and she buried her face in her partner’s shoulder, host Tom Bergeron even found the timing right for a joke, telling her that, “On the European version that would be perfectly fine.”

Below is a segment of the incident of which Nancy Grace says it’s been widely exaggerated in the press.
