Nadya Suleman, who got stuck with the OctoMom name more or less willingly, is being sued by an organization that claims to be on the lookout for her children’s future not being neglected. The organization is legally represented by none other than high-power attorney Gloria Allred, who worked with Suleman in the past but stopped all collaboration for reasons yet unknown, as TMZ can confirm.

As of now, the exact purpose of the lawsuit has not been clearly presented to the media but, according to reports, it is believed it’s meant to safeguard the fortune of Suleman’s children from Suleman herself. Apparently, “A Minor Consideration,” the organization in question, is trying to keep OctoMom from spending all the money she’s made so far from publicity and television deals, since this money should rightfully go to the children. From what TMZ says, the group even has every right to do so.

“Allred’s mystery client is a former child star named Paul Peterson, who’s also the president of ‘A Minor Consideration’ – a company that protects the rights of child actors. Peterson said he filed a petition in Orange County to appoint a guardian for the estate of the octobabies – to make sure Nadya doesn’t waste all the money she makes from constantly selling them out. Allred said she also sent a letter to the California Division of Labor Standards & Enforcement, to investigate whether or not OctoMom has violated laws set up to protect ‘child performers’.” TMZ writes.

The first steps in the case have already been taken, with Allred making all necessary legal preparations for a lawsuit, it has been said. Moreover, she held a press conference a couple of hours ago announcing her intention of taking Suleman to court over her right of spending the money she’s making from “exploiting” the octuplets and the other six children she had before that. This is, as we all know, not the first time that the attorney attacks Suleman over how appropriate a mother she is for her 14 children.

The last time Allred spoke out about Suleman as a mother was to bitterly attack her for using her kids as props to feed her attention-seeking habit, shortly after she and Nadya parted ways in not-too-amicable terms.
