This is one of those things that can take up a 5.25-inch bay

Normally, 5.25-inch desktop case bays are occupied by an optical disk drive of some sort, but all except the smallest of enclosures have a single bay of the sort.

And since ODD drives nowadays can read and write all sorts of disks, that usually means that only one bay is reserved for them.

Thus, there is ample space for other accessories to be installed in 5.25-inch compartments, like fan controllers.

NZXT has just introduced one such fan controller, called Sentry Mix 2. It has six channels, corresponding to six independent analog sliders.

A pair of 4-pin MOLEX connectors supply it with energy, and the top power use for fans is 30W (180W cumulative). All sliders are broad and have LED-backlit labels.

Pricing and availability have, sadly, been withheld. Black is the only color option for now.
