NVIDIA’s much hyped Tegra Note 7 tablet should arrive on retail shelves as soon as this week, but the company has already posted a couple of videos to showcase the slate’s capabilities, in anticipation of the event.

The presentation videos were unearthed by the guys over at Eeevolution.it. After watching the first clip, it becomes clear that NVIDIA has built the device with the stylus in mind.

In the demo, we’re shown what the DirectStylus technology can actually do. We start off with basic operations like note taking and advance towards more complicated ones in complex applications like Photoshop touch.

The video also shows how you can “lasso capture” just about anything with the stylus and then share it immediately with friends. The stylus is demonstrated to quickly switch between thin or thick lines.

More than that, the pen can be easily used with educational apps like MyScript Calculator. Basically, you handwrite equations on the screen and they are automatically transformed into computer-generated font and then solved.

The second video showcases some of the gaming capabilities of the device. The producing company claims that the Tegra Note 7 is the fastest 7-incher on the market today, as it is powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and super powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX tablet graphics, so playing games should prove to be a breeze.

The demo advertises that the Tegra Note 7 can be used for console-quality gaming if coupled with a Bluetooth controller. Since audio is an integral part of gameplaying, NVIDIA offers PureAudio technology and promises “the deepest, richest sound and widest frequency range” you have seen with a slate.

Recent uncovered information showed that the NVIDIA tablet would also come bundled with GameSteam. This addition will allow tablet games to run smoother than ever before.

From the promo videos, it seems like you can actually do a lot of cool stuff with the slate. And, with a super affordable price tag of $199 / €147, we don’t see why the product wouldn’t become very popular with costumers.
