It will be sold from February 18 onwards, or so rumors say

The GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card has been on many people's minds recently, and it's bound to stay as a main focus for human attention until its launch on February 18, especially now that the first product listing has surfaced.

Granted, there's no certainty that the Maxwell board will really start shipping on February 18, but that's the best consensus right now. And it gives something for hopefuls to look forward to. A Hungarian retailer has added the new NVIDIA card to its website, according to Tech2.hu.

The card is listed under the model number GTX750TI-OC-2GD5 and has a price of 50,000 HUF.

According to exchange rates, that's the same as $225 and €166, but we wouldn't hold our breath when it comes to its accuracy.

We've come across mentions of the tag at $125-170 / €125 - €170, although, admittedly, it was just an estimate belonging to someone outside the supply chain.

Then again, $225 / €166 may very well be the price of this particular model because the OC in the name suggests that it is factory-overclocked, which always demands a premium.

On that note, it also implies that this isn't NVIDIA's reference board, but one belonging to one of its many OEMs.

Nevertheless, even then, the price is too high, knowing that it's supposed to be below the GeForce GTX 660 (below $200 / €200) and GTX 760 ($225 – 250 / €225 - 250) in strength.

The 2 GD5 are self-explanatory, indicating the memory capacity of 2 GB. The frequency is probably of 6 GHz or 7 GHz, although the mid-range market positioning allows for even 5.4 GHz.

Since this is an ASUS custom video card and the launch date is in February, we can assume, with a fair degree of certainty, that NVIDIA will allow custom-cooled and clocked models from the beginning.
