Following in the footsteps of CyberPower, more or less, iBuyPower has announced that a few of its own gaming systems have taken it upon themselves to assuage enthusiasts' needs for high-grade graphics by means of the strongest board released so far.

Even before the actual launch of the card, CyberPower was revealed yesterday (November 9) to have already updated some of its systems with the new video card form NVIDIA.

Said graphics controller is the GeForce GTX 580 and is the latest Fermi-based card with support for DirectX 11.

Basically, this is supposedly the most powerful graphics adapter on the market right now, featuring the GF110 GPU, 1,536 MB of GDDR5 VRAM and 512 CUDA cores.

The clocks are of 772 MHz for the chip, 1,544 MHz for the shaders and 4,008 for the memory.

There is also support for the CUDA technology, as well as for PhysX, SLI and 3D Vision Surround, which lets triple-display scenarios be enacted when using multi-GPU setups.

Now, iBuyPower proudly announced that some of its more popular gaming systems can now be outfitted with one or more of these products.

They can have up to 24 GB of RAM and run on quad-core or six-core central processing units.

The Paladin XLC and Gamer Paladin F875 can have one, two or three such cards, depending on how many financial resources one is willing to invest.

The third system set to feature the high-end card is LAN Warrior II, although this one is limited to two controllers at most.

It should also be noted that, depending on how many video cards one is interested in, one will have to pay extra for a motherboard with sufficient PCI Express slots, as well as for a powerful enough PSU.

Granted, the motherboard 'issue' can be said to not even exist considering that the platform available is an Intel X58 mainboard.

Likewise, the PSUs available can have a power output of 1,500W, so choice will not really be a problem.

The starting prices of the three computers range between $1,899 and $2,429.
