NTT DoCoMo has recently introduced the 703i series phones, among which the FOMA N703i? manufactured by NEC. The first thing to be noticed is the phone's external LED indicator, which is a pretty good alternative to an standard external display that you only need for basic information such as incoming calls or time.

Apparently, it is also possible to download various illumination patterns, which makes this phone a pretty interesting and fun device. Aside from that, there is an SD audio player and quick access to a hide info function, so that un-welcomed eyes won't be able to read what's displayed because of reduced viewing angles.

Another thing about this phone, definitely worth mentioning, is its thickness of 11.4 mm. The FOMA N703i? by NEC and the P703i? are currently the slimmest W-CDMA 3G phones in the world.

Innovative, good looking and very slim, the phone packs a 1.3 megapixel camera as well as a VGA camera used for video calling, a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion and a 2.3 inch 260k color screen with a 240 x 345 pixel resolution. Although not as feature packed as other phones, the FOMA N703i? is meant to be a more affordable but nonetheless stylish mobile phone.

The N703i? measures 103 x 49 x 11.4 mm and weighs 90 grams. It is also available in three colors variations, red and black, green and grey or completely brown. The phone is part of the 703i series recently unveiled by NTT DoCoMo, and it will be available along with the other phones in February.
