PC manufacturer NEC, known for its notebook LaVie line, has decided to extend the brand as to include a bunch of Android tablets as well.

Thus, the LaVie E-series was born, comprising the 7-inch LaVie Tab TE307 and the 10.1-inch LaVie Tab TE510, reveals NextPowerUp.

The two models don’t offer higher than average specks, so if you’re looking to achieve extreme performance on these slates, they are not for you.

The smaller device comes featuring a WSVGA display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It has been bundled with a MediaTek MT8317 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM. There are two cameras available, as well as 16 GB internal expandable memory, WLAN and Bluetooth.

Its more consistent brother packs a WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The processor here is a MediaTek MT8125 quad-core one, coupled with 1GB of RAM. This time there’s 32GB of expandable memory on board.
