14 DAY TRIAL // Season 11 of “NCIS” premiered the other night and, without a doubt, diehard fans must have had quite a shock with all the drama, packed in just one episode, coming their way.
Without spoiling the episode for those who haven’t seen it yet, I’ll just say that the season premiere laid the foundation for what will probably be a very gut-wrenching farewell, which will happen in the next episode.
Cote de Pablo, a series regular, will leave after episode 2 of the new season, as the promo above also confirms.
In the season premiere, her character Ziva David has already gone missing, and her NCIS team members are out there looking for her.
In interviews this summer, de Pablo said the decision to leave the show was “personal” and that she would not elaborate on it.
Still, she did not leave slamming the door behind her. On the contrary, there is hope for fans.
“The greatest thing about this last episode is that Ziva doesn’t die. As long as a character doesn’t die, the character can always come back. Not that it would actually matter, because we bring back characters from the dead all the time on NCIS!” she said.
