As announced about two weeks ago, Gameloft has released NBA Smash, its latest game that offers us a mobile take on the famous American basketball league. The new title was created after an agreement with the NBA itself and it's the first one from a series of basketball-related games.

NBA Smash is an arcade game that asks players to give their best (in terms of basketball skills) on three famous American arenas from New York, Miami and Los Angeles. The game will bring, directly on your handset, all the teams currently playing in NBA (there are 30 in total), as well as all their players. You will have the chance to complete a full season, with all of its 80 games, and participate to extra NBA All-Stars events. Other features of NBA Smash include a career mode (lets you create personalized players and teams), a "3rd player feature" for unique slam dunks, team management and so on.

"The NBA is one of the great global sports leagues whose tremendous popularity spans from North America to Europe and Asia, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to develop NBA mobile games. By featuring every NBA player and team, along with a spectacular gameplay, our games will deliver an authentic look and feel that will make them stand out from the competition", declared Gonzague de Vallois, senior vice president of publishing at Gameloft, in a press release issued when the NBA games were first announced.

To buy a copy of NBA Smash, users can visit Gameloft's website, found at this address. The game has prices starting from $4 (2.6 Euros) and it's available for lots of countries around the globe, from USA to Vietnam, hence almost all the mobile gamers out there can try it. If they don't have anything against basketball, of course.
