The development team at EA Sports working on NBA Live 15 is ready to start showing fans of the series the ratings of some of the players that will be included in the game, and they are starting the rundown with the point guard position, where a lot of the talent in the sport is focused.

The best player for those who are looking for a complete athlete with a lot of skill is Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers, who is rated at 94 overall.

EA Sports states in the official announcement that “The quintessential point guard, Paul's arrival in Tinsel Town completely changed the culture of the Clippers. His leadership and skillset has helped lead the Clippers to three straight postseason appearances for just the second time in franchise history.”

Gamers who are not fans of the best rated player in NBA Live 15 when it comes to the point guard position can choose to control Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, who has a rating of 92, or Russell Westbrook, who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder and is rated only one point lower despite his long-term injury issues.

EA Sports has John Wall from the Washington Wizards as the fourth point guard in NBA Live 15, while the cover athlete for the coming basketball simulation is in fifth, with Damian Lillard rated at 89 overall.

EA Sports adds, “In his second NBA season, the former Rookie of the Year led the Blazers to the Western Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2000, while also showing the ability to hit big-time shots.”

A series with long-term issues

The NBA Live series from EA Sports has not managed to deliver a quality title last year and has seen entries outright canceled in the past because the game was unplayable.

For the upcoming installment, the developers are claiming that the new Ignite engine is used to create a very realistic experience which reflects the way the game looks and moves in the actual NBA.

EA Sports claims that more than 70 percent of player faces in the league have been scanned and that gamers will be able to use the new control scheme to execute some impressive moves.

NBA Live 15 will be launched on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One in late October, and the game makers have promised that they will offer long-term support for it.
