NBA Ballers: Chosen One has been shipped to game stores in the US and it is ready to deliver the classic arcade-style hoop action to your Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. Midway has a suggested retail price of $59.99 for each unit.

With fast-paced gameplay and state-of-the-art player likenesses, crazy venues where you will be able to test your skills against the NBA pro's and intense one-on-one and two-on-two action, NBA Ballers: Chosen one promises to offer an entertaining experience, while confirming Midway's position as the graphical leader in the sports games industry (sorry, EA).

"With Dwight Howard as cover athlete, NBA Ballers: Chosen One brings the franchise back to its basketball roots with fantastic gameplay and true, next generation graphics," said Mona Hamilton, vice president of marketing, Midway Amusement Games. "We definitely wanted to listen to our NBA Ballers fan base and focus on the gameplay elements that were considered most desirable to them. As a result, we feel as if Chosen One delivers the best over-the-top basketball gaming experience available."

More than 65 NBA elite players are featured in the game and it is a real joy to watch their moves. Especially because of the new "action movie"-style game cameras that highlight every move. Also, the game allows you the chance to create a Baller and taken on the challenge of the "Chosen One Tournament", winning, at the same time, the right to use each star's "Shut 'Em Down" super move. Of course, if the AI will eventually become too easy to defeat, you will always be able to go online and test your skills against all the other players.

Chuck D, the Public Enemy front man serves as announcer and studio-host for Chosen One, also providing play-by-play commentary, while the soundtrack has been created by Just Blaze who has produced tracks for best-selling hip hop artists.
