The development team at Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Games are ready to announce some of the features that will be included in NBA 2K14, the basketball simulation that will be out on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 at some point in October.

The game will use a new dynamic living roster, created in partnership with Stats, Inc., which will see all players in the game automatically updated each day in order to show their changes in form and capability, with an instant effect on a gamer’s style of play.

A new Pro Stick control system will give players options to perform more impressive moves, both on the offensive and the defensive, all with intuitive combinations of buttons and stick moves.

A new 2K Smart Play button is designed to allow the game to automatically choose the best move for the current game situation quickly, to keep NBA 2K14 as smooth as possible, says VG247.

All players in the game use an improved motion system, giving players tighter control over their positioning and better simulating the explosive runs that take place in the real world.

The game also offers more than 3.000 new animations.

NBA 2K14 offers six new Signature Skills, in order to make sure that all the unique abilities on display in the real-world competition are reflected in the game.

There are also upgrades to the shot system, dribbling, defensive A.I., ball denial and the block system.

The two companies are also giving players a look at all the modes they will be able to launch when the game is out: MyCareer, The Association, The Association: Online, Training Camp, Season, Playoffs, Practice, NBA Blacktop, MyPlayer Blacktop and Team Up.

NBA 2K14 will also get versions for the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft, both of them with a new game engine.
