We have been hearing rumors about Dell introducing a line of Windows 8 tablets under the revived Venue moniker. Now it appears that the company might have more in mind and is planning to unroll an Android slate as well.

A Wi-Fi certification spotted online reveals that Dell might be working on a Venue 8 tablet, model T02D001, which will be powered by Android.

There isn't much information about the slate at the moment. The Wi-Fi listing reveals that the Venue 8 will sport Wi-Fi connectivity and run Android’s 4.2.2 version Jelly Bean.

Apart from that, the frame factor is still a mystery, although the “8” digit might indicate that the slate will feature an 8-inch display. TheDroidGuy claims that there might be a good chance to see an Intel Bay Trail processor, possibly the Atom Z3740 or the Atom Z3770.
