It seems that T-Mobile USA is desperately trying to get rid of its MyTouch 4G stock, as the carrier is offering the phone for free for the fourth time in the last two months.

The deal is available for customers who wish to start a new line of service or add an existing line to their current account.

The current deal is available only via T-Mobile's online store and runs through July 7. Customers are provided with two available color schemes to choose from: Black and White.

In addition, T-Mobile offers free shipping on all phones, so potential customers would get the myTouch 4G without paying a dime.

For those who are not familiar with the capabilities of the smartphone, myTouch 4G is equipped with a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8255 processor clocked at 1 GHz speed.

The phone is powered by Google's Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform out-of-the-box and features a generous 3.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support, 480 x 800 pixels resolution, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Swype input method.

Although the phone seems to be one of the heaviest from the myTouch family at 141.8g (including battery), it is also one of the sleekest at just 10.9 mm thickness.

Furthermore, the smartphone embeds a custom UI which seems to be a combination between HTC Sense and the myTouch skin that is included with the myTouch Slide smartphone.

Also known as myTouch HD, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash, as well as secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calling.

The 4G-enabled handset is fully packed with connectivity features such as HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, GPS with A-GPS support.

Obviously, the smartphone requires a Web service, so customers are recommended to choose on T-Mobile's data plans.
