Only in an alpha flavor at the moment

A new mobile software solution is expected to soon become available for handsets running under Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system, namely MySquare. The purpose of the new mobile applications is pretty simple, as it is nothing more than a Foursquare client for Windows Phones. For the time being, the solution is only in the early stages of development, but it should become available in the not too far future.

MySquare, the new Foursquare client for Windows Phones, should be delivered to the community by Marcos Almeida Jr., who announced the move via his website. According to the developer, even if the software solution is only in an alpha stage at the moment, things look good, and it shouldn't be too long before the application is officially released. It still remains to be seen when exactly the solution would arrive in a final form, or what experience would it be able to offer to its users.

Among the main features of the MySquare application for Windows Phone, we can count (via Pocketnow): - Use your location to find out nearby places - See your friends latest check-ins - View tips of places - Share your experience with others - Explore foursquare and earn points and badges - Use GPS or network fix - Integrated with Google maps - Supports QVGA, WQVGA, VGA, WVGA resolutions

The owners of a Windows Mobile-based mobile phone in search for a Foursquare application have a single software solution at their disposal for the time being, namely WinMoSquare. This solution is already available for download via the Windows Marketplace for Mobile (via this link), where it is described as follows: “WinMoSquare is a cross between a friend-finder, a social city-guide and a game that rewards you for doing interesting things. We aim to build things to not only help you keep up with the places your friends go, but that encourage you to discover new places and challenge you to explore your neighborhood in new ways.”
