This is one of those really unusual but awesome inventions that sometimes crop up

One would think that lawn mowers wouldn't be able to actually give people pause, but Honda and UK-based Team Dynamics disagree.

I can almost imagine one of those cartoons where the lawn mower becomes sentient and dives headlong into the backyard, upturning everything in its path in its mad mowing frenzy.

The Mean Mower that Honda and Team Dynamics invented is the closest thing to that.

It is made with a 1000cc motorcycle engine, less deadweight (fiberglass is used instead of metal in some cases), a housing for the fuel tank instead of the grass bag, a high-capacity oil cooler, and a secondary water cooling radiator.

All these things allow the creature to mow grass at 130 mph (209km/h).

Fortunately, there are 2 electric motors for leisure grass cutting at 15 mph, so you won't have a runaway beast on your hands every time.
