Motorola Z8m, the more advanced South Korean edition of the RIZR Z8 slider, has now new color versions: white and all-black, added to the black/silver one already available. The white version, which has only its margins covered in the pure color, makes the phone look quite distinct.

[admark=1]Released in South Korea at the end of April, via SK Telecom, Motorola Z8m resembles the original Z8 in most of its aspects, save for the fact that its HSDPA connectivity is capable of offering higher data transfer speeds (up to 7.2 Mbps).

Earlier this year, Motorola said that the Z8m slider was "designed to satisfy the desires of young, hip Koreans, who are interested in unique mobile devices," so it's clear that the company wants to attract even more young users with the new color versions.

Besides the HSDPA connectivity, the features of Z8m are the ones of a mid-end device, including: a 2.2 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels 16 million colors, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music and Video players, email, Instant Messaging, Web browser, USB 2.0, a 300 Mhz processor, 77MB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 4GB. The Z8m also packs a 2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, plus a front-facing camera for video calls. All the features of Moto Z8m are controlled via a Symbian UIQ 3.1 User Interface.

Motorola Z8m weighs 112 grams and, when not slid, it measures 109 x 50 x 15 millimeters. The battery packed in it can provide up to 5 hours of talk-time and up to 380 hours of stand-by time.

The retail price of the original silver-black Motorola Z8m is of 500,000 Korean won ($499 or 319 Euros), hence the prices of the new editions should be the same.
