Canada's third largest mobile carrier, Telus, has just released a new Motorola phone – the RAZV VE20, which was previously launched in the US, via both Sprint and Alltel.

Motorola VE20 could pass as a classic RAZR, hence it will probably not blow you away with its look and features. But this doesn't mean it's not a good phone, especially for users who like mid-end clamshells.

The features of Motorola RAZR VE20 include dual-band CDMA/EV-DO connectivity, a 2.2-inch TFT internal display with 240 x 320 pixels, a 1.7-inch external screen with dedicated music keys, Bluetooth, MP3 player, Telus Mobile TV, Telus Mobile Music, Telus Mobile Radio, Windows Live Messenger, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, and more.

The prices of Motorola VE20 are as follows:

- 99.99 CAD with a contract agreement for three years. - 149.99 CAD with a two-year contract. - 249.99 CAD with a contract for only one year. - and 299.99 CAD for those who don't like long term agreements.

The clamshell can be bought either online, via Telus' official website, or from the carrier's stores.

While VE20's availability in Canada isn't the greatest piece of news we’ve heard today, this one could be: Telus will also release, in the next few months, the full-touch LG Dare. You might already know the Dare, as Verizon launched it several months ago in the US. However, just in case you don't, these are its main features: a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, CDMA and EV-DO connectivity, internal GPS, full HTML browser, Bluetooth, Media player and a 3.2 Megapixel camera.

According to a leaked promo image seen over at Mobile Syrup, LG Dare will be offered for the same price as the already available Moto VE20: $99.99 with a three-year contract agreement. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when the T-carrier will release the Dare across Canada.
